Traele is Icsius's guide on his mythical journey to find Cur-verity. This painting simply shows the psychological difference between the two parts within any one on a spiritual quest. Icsius is naively fiery and eager to fight, he is fully identified with it, whereas his guide, who understands the journey's necessary battles and trials, is prepared for a fight but knows what lies behind the conflicts and is not identified with them.
