Welcome to the new heads gallery...

As with the figures, the human face has always held the strongest attraction for me. The variety of expression, the depths and nuances revealed in the eyes and the potential of deep inner contact with another human being by simply standing and facing each other, leads me always deeper into myself, and this is what I would wish the Head paintings to be capable of. A sincere, inescapable gaze, looking for truth.
